About five years ago I started this blog as a means of rediscovering the joy of just creating. Creating without pretense or expectation, without judgement or concern over quality, quantity, or social interaction. While I still have all the artwork and writing, I accidentally deleted the database on my server (oops) so in that sense it’s all “gone”. But I decided to start again anyway.
The goal is to post something every day, which I think is absolutely possible, letting go of any external or internal expectations. Every day is not going to be spectacular. But it can be something. Some days might be more than one if the time and inclination strikes me. I might branch out of digital and snap a photo of something made. It’s all about taking the time to be present in creating something with the unfettered joy of a kid again.
